Technion R&D Foundation Ltd., A subsidiary of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, is a bridge between the many scientific and technological educations accumulated at the Technion, and knowledge-rich industries in Israel and around the world, which translate research into advanced developments for the benefit of all humanity.

The main function of Technion R&D is the management of research at the Technion, which is spread over many branches, including the management of the legal aspect, including intellectual property, financial management, handling of human capital and more. In addition, the institution is responsible for commercializing the Technion’s inventions and leading collaborations between the scientific community and the business community, in order to open a window of opportunity for advancing science and engineering and making it practical.

We believe that the role of the academy is to ensure the expansion of knowledge and its establishment among Technion graduates and senior professional employees in diverse branches of the labor market. To this end, the unit for continuing and external studies works, training thousands of engineers, doctors and workers from a wide range of professions every year. This is through practical study programs connected to the field and based on technical excellence.
