We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and hands-on professional to bridge the gap between engineering design and clinical microbiology.
This is a primarily wet-lab focused position. You will be responsible for executing complex experiments, workflow development, managing clinical samples, and ensuring data integrity.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the bench and enjoys the precision of biological research, and also is a deep-thinker skilled in troubleshooting in order to refine the research direction.
While experimental planning is highly collaborative, the day-to-day execution must be handled independently.
Job description:-
Lead the planning and execution of microbiology experiments involving various microorganisms and clinical samples in a BSL2 environment.

Work closely with the PhD lead to brainstorm, troubleshoot, and translate high-level research goals into actionable lab protocols.

Proactively develop robust, reproducible, and efficient protocols.

Meticulous recording of experimental procedures and results; preparing clear, concise study reports and data summaries.

Ability to follow complex protocols accurately with minimal supervision.
Requirements:

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering, Biology or a related field.

Strong command of aseptic technique and experience working in a BSL2 environment.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Prior experience in a microbiology lab. - Advantage

Proficiency in SolidWorks and experience with microfluidic device prototyping.- Advantage
