The Turbomachinery and Heat Transfer Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated Electronics Engineer to support advanced experimental research, development, and testing activities. The role combines hands-on electronics work with system-level integration, control, and laboratory experimentation in a multidisciplinary aerospace research environment.
Job description:

Design, assemble, integrate, and test electronic circuits and subsystems for experimental laboratory rigs.

Programming, tuning, and validation of control systems (PID and related controllers).

Design and integration of control and measurement systems for high-speed motor-generator units, turbomachinery test stands, and UAV-related systems.

Wiring, soldering, and assembly of complex electronic and electromechanical systems.

Operation and troubleshooting of laboratory measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters, DAQ systems, network analyzers).

Performing electronic diagnostics, calibration, and repair of laboratory equipment.

Development and execution of test procedures and ation of experimental results.

Support day-to-day laboratory activities, including hands-on mechanical work when required.
Requirements:

B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).

Strong hands-on experience in electronics assembly, wiring, soldering, and testing.

Experience with control systems and laboratory measurement equipment.

Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and electronic circuit diagrams.

Organized, safety-minded, able to work clearly, and collaborate in a research lab environment.

Technical English proficiency.

Experience with LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, or similar programing tools - advantage.

Experience in circuit design and simulation (e.g., PSPICE, Multisim) - afvantage.

Experience with aviation systems (drones, jet engines etc.) - advantage.

Experience with motor drives/inverters, sensor integration, and DAQ/control of high-speed rotating systems - advantage.
