Rosetrees: Major Project Awards in translational Medical Research – LOI

* Allow collaborations with Israeli PI’s – The main PI must be UK based.
Supporting cutting edge medical research with focus on testing new ideas across the spectrum of medical research to bring the earliest patient benefit.
Major project grants support innovative research projects with an established proof-of-concept. It is expected that our funding will enable projects to develop further towards clinical translation and should target an unmet clinical need impacting a significant patient population in the UK. Proposals focusing on rare diseases will also be considered if applicants can demonstrate that their research has potential applications to a broader range of clinical conditions.
Due to our upcoming Dementia Teams Award funding call in partnership with Race Against Dementia, we will not be accepting dementia-related projects in this major project grant round. However, projects exploring dementia and quality of life remain eligible, as these topics fall outside the Race Against Dementia partnership.
Funding: up to £210,000 over 3 years.
