proposals for one-year research projects, including both laboratory-based investigations and clinical studies, that examine how the gut microbiome influences the human nervous system. Studies focusing on microbiome-driven mechanisms along the gut brain axis, including effects on neurotransmission, immune signalling and neurological function, are encouraged. The programme will award up to three grants per funding cycle, with each grant providing up to USD $100,000 in funding.
