Collaborative projects with NATO† countries addressing the following key priorities: * Environment, Climate Change and Security * Energy Security * Innovation and Emerging Disruptive Technologies (EDTs) * Counterterrorism * Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) and Explosive Hazards
Management * Defense against Hybrid Threats * Resilience * Critical Underwater Infrastructure * Cyber Defense * Assessing and addressing threats posed by the Russian Federation * Strategic Foresight * Human and Social Aspects of Security * Operational Support
* Other: Any other proposal clearly linked to the implementation of NATO’s core tasks may also be considered for funding under the SPS Programme.
Grant Mechanisms:
Multi-year (MYP) research & development projects: 2-3 yrs in the €250K–€400K range.
Advanced Research Workshop (ARW): 2-5 days’ workshop, 20-50 participants, averaging €30,000-€40,000.
Advanced Study Institutes (ASI): 7-10 days, 60-80 pre- and post-doctoral level scientists, averaging €60,000.
Advanced Training Course (ATC): 5-7 days course, 20-50 trainees primarily from Partner nations, averaging €60,000.
No overhead.
