International Center for Responsible Gaming (ICRG): seed grant for research on sports betting, fan behavior and athlete well-being

To support research on the relationship between sports bettors and professional athletes, with a particular focus on the relationship between bettors and athletes, as well as bettor-driven harassment, intimidation, or invalidation of athletes and how legalized sports betting may be reshaping fan–athlete interactions.
