Gustave Roussy Prize 2027 in Cancer Research

An annual award worth €200,000, recognising researchers whose scientific discoveries have had a major impact on the care of patients with cancer.  The Gustave Roussy Prize is awarded each year to a prominent figure in oncology research whose scientific breakthroughs in the fields of cancer diagnosis, treatment, or prevention have significantly improved patient care or led to a better understanding of the disease.  The prize highlights innovation and scientific commitment that led to tangible, lasting benefits for patients, in perfect alignment with Gustave Roussy’s mission: to cure more patients, more effectively and more sustainably. It is endowed with €200,000: €100,000 for the laureate’s free use, and €100,000 to support an innovative research project in oncology.  The Prize is open to researchers of all nationalities. An independent jury of international experts selects the laureate solely on scientific excellence and clinical impact, regardless of discipline or institution.
