Ethereum Foundation: Academic Grants Program

Initiative dedicated to advancing cutting-edge academic research that strengthens and expands the Ethereum ecosystem.

Welcome proposals across a wide range of disciplines, including (detailed list):

• Economics & Game Theory
• Theoretical and Applied Cryptography
• Consensus and Protocol Design
• Networking & P2P
• Client Engineering
• Security
• Formal Verification
• Humanities

This grant round has $2M in total available funds for projects to take between  6 to 12 months. Applications are selected for funding on a case-by-case basis. More than one application may be submitted as long as each proposal is unique and meets the requirements and goals of this round.
