Submitted pre-proposals must relate to sustainable solid waste management practices and at least one of the following Priority areas:

• Climate Change Impacts/Greenhouse Gas Emissions
• Emerging Contaminants
• Advancing Materials Circularity & Recycling.

Funding: from $15K to over $500K (average $160K) for typically 2 years.

* It should be noted that proposed research, more than $300,000 or longer than 3 years should contain sufficient details that justify the need for the higher-than-average amount requested and longer project duration.
