Discovery Award: Supports innovative, untested, nonincremental, groundbreaking research that provides new insights, paradigms, technologies, or applications in combat relevant burn care
Funding: up to $200K for 2 years
Technology/Therapeutic Development Award: Supports the translation of promising preclinical findings into burn products for clinical application in an austere, resourcelimited, distributed combat operational environment, particularly within the prehospital, and/or early, acute phase of care.
Funding: up to $1.8M for 3 years
Patient Centered Research Award: Bridges the gap between research, practice, and policy to deliver highly effective burn care to the burn-injured Warfighter at the point of need.
