DOD/CDMRP: Breast Cancer Research Program (BCRP)- (LOI)

Breakthrough Award Levels 1 and 2:

Supports promising research with high potential to lead to or make breakthroughs in breast cancer.

Funding: up to $3.35M for up to 4 years

Clinical Research Extension Award: Supports projects entailing a deeper molecular analysis of clinical samples, initiation of new correlative studies, biomarker validation, or continuing clinical follow-up of patients enrolled in an open/ongoing or completed clinical trial or study.

Funding: up to $8.4M for 4 years.

Era of Hope Scholar Award: Supports exceptionally talented early career scientists that are the “best and brightest” in their field(s) and exhibit extraordinary creativity, vision, innovation and productivity. Funding: up to $4.9M for up to 4 years

Transformative Breast Cancer Consortium Development Award:

Provides the time and resources needed to bring investigators and breast cancer advocates together to establish a consortium framework and conduct preliminary research in support of an application to a future BCRP Transformative Breast Cancer Consortium Award (pending availability of funds).

Funding: up to $140K for 1 year.
