The three technical thrusts of MXO’s Office-wide Innovative Solutions are:
Thrust 1 – Materials and components to expand the foundation:
Develop next-generation materials and hardware beyond CMOS to create secure, resilient, and scalable foundational technologies that reduce vulnerability and provide long-term military and economic advantage.
Thrust 2 – Tools and processes for indigenous development:
Strengthen domestic manufacturing and supply chains by developing new tools and processes, reducing reliance on foreign sources, and building secure, independent industrial capabilities.
Thrust 3 – New modalities to achieve mission effects:
Enable more resilient sensing, computing, communication, and other mission functions using new technologies, including non-traditional and hybrid approaches beyond conventional electronics.
